Experienced Automobile Painter (water-based paint) — Laval, Quebec

Bentley's Automobile, a body shop located in Laval, is looking for an experienced automobile painter to join its team. You will contribute to vehicle finishing with precision, using water-based painting techniques. A professional and collaborative environment, high-quality projects, and growth opportunities await you. There is a possibility of joining a future Procolor banner and, depending on the organization, finishing on Friday at 2 pm with paid time off.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (degreasing, sanding, masking) to ensure excellent adhesion of coats.
• Mix and adjust shades, apply paint coats, and perform finishing with spray tools suitable for water-based paints.
• Control the quality of finishes (color matching, uniformity, absence of defects) and make touch-ups if necessary.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental standards, and technical data sheets.
• Maintain and clean equipment and the workshop; collaborate with the bodywork team to optimize deadlines.
• Participate in high-quality bodywork projects.

Profile sought

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto painting.
• Expertise in water-based painting; mastery of tint systems and color mixing.
• Good spray and finishing skills; knowledge of drying processes and surface preparation.
• Attention to detail, autonomy, and team spirit; ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
