Job Description
Position: Logistics Coordinator – Workshop
Presentation The logistics coordinator supervises the activities related to transportation, movement, cleaning, and preparation of vehicles within the workshop. He/she plans movements, supervises jockeys, and ensures smooth operations to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities related to vehicle movement and preparation.
- Utilize Protractor and Astus FMS to monitor operations and ensure traceability.
- Plan and assign operational tasks according to established priorities.
- Monitor execution and ensure the quality of operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal procedures.
- Act as a resource person to resolve daily operational issues.
- Train employees on processes and the use of computer tools; provide support and skill development.
- Participate in the recruitment process and onboarding of new employees.
- Plan internal and intersite vehicle movements via computer systems.
- Coordinate tows and movements required based on operational needs.
- Optimize the use of operational spaces and vehicle circulation.
- Monitor operations and provide updates using internal tools.
- Collaborate with other teams to align priorities.
- Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to practices and processes.
Profile Required Qualifications
- Postsecondary diploma of 2 to 3 years in a technical field, project management, operations, or related field, required.
Experience and Technical Skills
- Minimum 12 months of experience with Protractor, Astus FMS, Outlook, and Excel.
- Minimum 12 months of experience in team integration and training.
- Minimum 18 months of experience in coordination within the car-sharing sector.
- Minimum 12 months of team coordination experience.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5) required.
Assets
- Experience in operational planning, activity coordination, or supervision of teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of workshop operations or similar operational environments.
Qualities and Language
- Operational leadership, team spirit, sense of responsibility, rigor.
- Proactive, good stress management, excellent planning, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and communicate clearly and structurally.
- Advanced spoken and written French.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Terms and Benefits Type of contract
- Temporary: 36 months
Compensation
- Annual salary: CAD 65,145.60 (CAD 34.80/hour)
- Weekly hours: 36 hours
