Rental Renewal and Portfolio Management Director

Location: Brossard (on site) | Employment Type: Full-time, permanent | Salary: $55,000 – $120,000 per year

Brief description: We are hiring an experienced professional to manage and optimize our rental portfolio. You will oversee contract follow-up, customer renewals, and related analyses, in collaboration with the sales and vehicle repurchase teams. Main Responsibilities

• Follow the manufacturer and financial institution rental programs and promotions and apply them.
• Handle rental documentation and maintain detailed records (CRM Activix).
• Keep a daily record of rental/renewal operations (Activix and AutoAlert) and generate relevant reports.
• Produce reports (Activix) on: retail sales vs. rentals ratio, renewal rate, loss rate and reasons, as well as other useful statistics.
• Manage requests related to rental contracts (residual net balance) and contact clients promptly if necessary.
• Analyze files 24 months before contract expiration and prepare priority actions.
• Develop a customer renewal strategy with AutoAlert.
• Take charge of orphaned customer rental contracts (proactive service).
• Supervise rental returns: appointment setting, vehicle inspections, and associated reports (when the customer repurchases their vehicle).
• Analyze financed files by financial institutions and develop appropriate follow-up plans.
• Anticipate potential transactions and coordinate with the used vehicle sales department, 24 months before expiration.
• Monitor the arrival of new vehicles and stay informed about portfolio developments.
• Comply with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations related to rental and advertising.
• Participate in weekly sales team meetings and, by invitation, in managers' meetings.
• Present yourself and act professionally.
• Perform other tasks as needed and directed by management.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 1 year in rental renewal management (equivalent experience accepted).

Skills and Education

• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Activix, AutoAlert) and ability to generate analytical reports.
• English/French: operational proficiency (depending on client context).
