Internal Technical Advisor – PDI Preparation and Coordination
Ste-Marie Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, in Saint-Rémi (near Montreal), is looking for an Internal Technical Advisor to support the team in vehicle preparation and coordination between the workshops and the sales department. The ideal candidate acts as an internal hub to ensure compliance, quality (PDI), and adherence to deadlines, while managing inventory and internal flows without direct contact with customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the mechanical workshop and the sales department for vehicle preparation prior to delivery (new and used).
• Oversee Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) processes and ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and standards.
• Manage inventory of vehicles and parts needed for preparation and delivery; optimize internal flows without direct contact with customers.
• Plan and coordinate preparation timelines in collaboration with the workshop, supervisors, and advisors.
• Ensure documentation traceability and quality control associated with each vehicle delivered.
• Work with after-sales and financing departments to optimize internal operational efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement of preparation and delivery processes.

Profile Sought – Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a vehicle workshop/preparation environment.
• Knowledge of PDI processes and GM-specific quality standards (an asset).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage inventory and schedules.
• Team spirit, attention to detail, and capacity to coordinate without direct customer contact.
• Proficiency in computer tools and management systems for inventory and after-sales service.
• Good internal communication skills and ability to work effectively with various departments.
