Financial Services Manager – 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC (Laval)
Join Tremblay Auto Group and contribute to providing comprehensive and tailored solutions to each customer at the 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership in Laval. We are looking for a leader capable of overseeing the financial services activity (financing, insurance, and warranties) and ensuring operational and commercial excellence.
Mission Lead the strategy and execution of financial services to support vehicle sales, optimize customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the sales strategy for financial and insurance products, aligned with dealership objectives.
- Lead, train, and coach the financial services team to meet performance targets and service standards.
- Advise clients on financing, insurance, and warranty options, clearly explaining benefits and costs.
- Collaborate with sales and after-sales teams to offer customized solutions.
- Supervise the financing and insurance process, from presentation to completion, in accordance with rules and procedures.
- Monitor financial results, produce simple reports, and suggest operational improvements.
- Participate in recruiting, developing, and evaluating team talent.
- Promote a culture of service, ethics, and customer satisfaction throughout the purchasing journey.
Operational Tasks (excerpt)
- Finalize sales and financing forms.
- Develop business opportunities and ensure the delivery of documents and signatures.
- Manage payments and verify credit requests.
- Collect deposits and issue receipts, review sales contracts.
- Follow up with clients and proactively communicate via phone or email.
- Ensure accuracy of financing and insurance fees and their collection.
- Manage vehicle financing and leasing according to financial institutions’ standards.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling financial products, insurance, and warranties, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Proven ability to lead a team, motivate, and develop team members' skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; ability to explain financial options clearly and accessibly.
- Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and prioritization of customer needs.
- Analytical mindset and results-oriented, with a practical and pragmatic approach.
- Mastery of French; English is a plus.
- Team spirit and commitment to excellent customer service.
