Commercial Director - F&I Automotive

Join a dynamic and customer-oriented team as a Commercial Director - F&I. You will guide our clients in their financing and insurance choices while providing a smooth and professional purchasing experience.

Important Information

Key Responsibilities

  • Present financing and insurance options clearly and professionally.
  • Secure financing from approved lenders and negotiate favorable terms while complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Propose and explain extended warranties, insurance products, and other value-added services.
  • Manage financial documents accurately and ensure the correctness of records.
  • Work closely with sales staff to optimize the customer experience and maximize satisfaction and revenue.
  • Develop and manage the F&I process, ensuring team and department objectives are met.

Management and Leadership (Managerial Responsibilities)

  • Lead, train, and coach the F&I team; set clear objectives and monitor performance.
  • Oversee the department and ensure effective coordination with other departments (sales, after-sales service, etc.).
  • Monitor financial and operational performance indicators and suggest improvements.

Profile Sought

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar F&I role or financial services management in the automotive sector; team management experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financing, credit, and auto insurance processes; ability to simplify complex financial products.
  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-oriented and negotiation ability.
  • Rigor: Attention to detail, excellent organization, and ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
  • Tools: Proficiency with relevant software and systems (CRM, financing solutions, office applications).
  • Education: Relevant degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent); specialized F&I training appreciated.
