Your role

You will hold the position of Director of Financial Services (F&I) – Used Vehicles and contribute to providing a premium customer experience while ensuring the financial performance of the dealership.

Main responsibilities

• Submit credit applications for used vehicles.
• Propose and sell financial products and protections (life and illness insurances, extended warranties, various protections).
• Process financing files accurately and fairly, and submit them to financial institutions.
• Negotiate with financial institutions in case of refusals and escalate to your supervisor if special conditions need to be negotiated.
• Clearly explain to customers the secondary market products and extended warranties.
• Verify the accuracy of information on sales or lease contracts (taxes, signatures, vehicle descriptions, etc.).
• Prepare vehicle delivery files and support the sales team at month-end, as needed.
• Perform all other related tasks as required by management.

Profile and requirements

Skills and qualities sought

• You have at least two (2) years of experience in a similar position and are already familiar with the field, with a proven ability to generate results.
• Ability to manage a high volume of sales while maintaining clear, complete, and impeccable files.
• High motivation, desire to succeed and achieve (or surpass) goals.
• Excellent performance and commitment to excellence, with a preference for tangible results.
• Rigorous and attentive customer follow-up, as each client counts and deserves a remarkable experience.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years as Director of Financial Services (F&I) – Used Vehicles or equivalent position.

Daily tasks and activities

• Efficiently complete sales and lease forms.
• Business development and prospecting.
• Delivery of documentation and signatures.
• Manage payments during transactions.
• Obtain and verify credit applications.
• Collect deposits and issue receipts.
• Review sales contracts.
• Make phone calls and send emails.
• Follow up with clients.
• Ensure that financing and insurance fees are deducted.
• Handle vehicle financing and leasing according to financial institution standards.

Desired experience

• 2 years as Director of Financial Services (F&I) – Used Vehicles.
