Sales Representative – Automotive (Montreal or Toronto)
Important Information Carrus is seeking an experienced sales professional to accelerate the growth of our client base in the automotive industry in Canada. The position is based in Montreal or Toronto, with occasional travel to Quebec and Ontario.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to support the growth of our client base in the Canadian automotive industry. The role involves developing new clients and managing the full sales cycle, while representing the company to key market players. Knowledge of the aftermarket and an established network within the industry are assets.
Responsibilities
Sales and Client Development
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in the automotive industry.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, demo of solutions (in person or virtual), proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
- Detect cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
Customer Support and Internal Collaboration
- Support and train new clients (on-site or remotely).
- Maintain close relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, customer service) to optimize the customer experience and contribute to the evolution of our solutions.
- Regularly relay client feedback and market trends to improve the product.
Visibility and Representation
- Represent the company to clients and at industry events, strengthening brand awareness.
- Develop collaboration and visibility opportunities through the Canadian automotive network.
Desired Profile
- 5+ years of experience in sales or client development, ideally in the automotive or aftermarket industry.
- Established network within the automotive sector (a plus).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Autonomy, initiative, and ability to independently manage territory and client portfolio.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented, with the ability to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Commercial tenacity and perseverance in following up with prospects and managing long sales cycles.
- Ability to analyze sales data, interpret pipelines, and adjust actions to meet targets.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and diligent documentation of customer interactions.
- Comfortable with sales objectives and results-oriented.
- Bilingual in French/English and willing to travel within Quebec, Ontario, and across Canada.
