Automotive Detailing Technician

Boucherville Body Shop is looking for a dynamic, reliable, and meticulous individual to join its team as an automotive detailing technician. You will directly contribute to providing clean, impeccable vehicles ready to be delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior of vehicles after bodywork and painting.
• Washing, drying, and wiping vehicles using appropriate techniques and products.
• Vacuuming carpets and seats, cleaning interior surfaces (windows, plastics, dashboards, etc.).
• Finishing work: removing polishing residues and handling marks.
• Preparing vehicles for delivery according to quality standards.
• Conducting general inspections and reporting any anomalies before handing over to the customer.
• Safely moving vehicles within the workshop, yard, and parking areas.
• Keeping workspaces, equipment, and tools clean, safe, and organized.
• Using cleaning products and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborating with body, paint, mechanical, and customer service departments to meet delivery deadlines.
• Contributing to a professional and quality-oriented work environment.

Desired Profile

• Experience in automotive detailing, car washing, or a similar position preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Team spirit, positive attitude, and professionalism.
• Good physical condition and ability to work standing and handle cleaning equipment.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Punctuality, reliability, and autonomy.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5).
