Dispatcher / Internal Technical Advisor

The holder ensures the optimal distribution of work among technicians to maximize workshop productivity, meet delivery deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction. They act as a liaison between technical advisors, technicians, and management.

Job Objective

Guarantee a smooth workflow in the workshop, maximize technicians' productivity, reduce waiting times, and provide an exemplary customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Distribute repair orders according to technicians' skills, certifications, and workload.
• Plan and balance tasks to optimize workshop efficiency.
• Monitor repair progress and adjust priorities accordingly.
• Ensure adherence to promised delivery deadlines.
• Regularly communicate progress status to technical advisors and management.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and risks to the workflow.
• Ensure technicians' availability and coordinate urgent or priority interventions.
• Track performance indicators (productivity, efficiency, billable time, etc.).
• Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components.
• Maintain an organized work environment compliant with safety standards.

Profile Sought

Experience and Knowledge

• Experience in an automotive service or equivalent position.
• Good knowledge of workshop operations.
• Proficiency with workshop management software and common computer tools.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented approach.

License

• Valid driver's license.
