Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team; assist advisors in closing deals.
• Participate in training new advisors and identify training needs.
• Monitor and report on the progress of trainees and staff in training and probation.
• Set ambitious yet realistic monthly goals with the sales manager and track performance.
• Design and implement improvement programs for underperforming salespeople.
• Coordinate vehicle exchanges between dealerships.
• Approve transactions within your authority limits.
• Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and programs from manufacturers and financial institutions.
• Substitute for the sales director in their absence.
• Develop and maintain a customer development system.
• Master federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing retail automobile sales and apply them.
• Actively participate in priority transactions and aim to close deals.
• Follow up with salespeople and support their performance.

Profile

• At least 1 year of experience in auto sales; management experience preferred.
• Bilingual in French/English to communicate with a diverse clientele.
• Management experience in the automotive sector.
• Personal qualities: dynamism, energy, ambition, reliability, teamwork, and sociability.
• Passion for automobiles, results-oriented, and customer service-focused.

Experience
