Job Offer: Financial Controller at BMW Montreal Centre

BMW Montreal Centre is seeking a dynamic and rigorous Controller to join our head office team in the heart of Montreal. If you have at least one year of experience in management control or accounting, and you want to grow within a group recognized for its expertise and high-level customer service, this opportunity might be for you. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, ensure accuracy of reports, and track variances from budgets and financial forecasts.
• Supervise closing processes, as well as managing accounts payable and receivable and controlling cash flows.
• Lead the control of operational costs, margins, and inventories; propose and implement optimization and profitability actions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Parts departments to improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and procedures and support reporting initiatives to management.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in management control or accounting; experience in the automotive or retail sector is an asset.
• Proficiency in ERP tools and Excel, familiarity with accounting software such as CDK, Oracle, or Reynolds is desired.
• Good understanding of Canadian accounting standards and Quebec tax requirements.
• Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and the ability to communicate and work in a team.
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
