Controller – Accounting and Finance

Main responsibilities
- Ensure the dealership's overall financial performance through rigorous accounting management
- Perform and validate the accounting of sales files
- Support the management team to ensure optimal accounting operations
- Monthly analysis of financial statements, monitor operational trends and identify warning signals
- Participate in the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts
- Manage bank reconciliations and financing
- Analyze accounting schedules and prepare various reports
- Ensure relations with public authorities (audits, requests, etc.)
- Process government remittances (GST/QST, DAS, etc.)
- Prepare monthly financial statements and those intended for the manufacturer
- Compile and produce the year-end file
- Design various analyses and dashboards for management
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Supervise intercompany controls
Required qualifications and skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in accounting or financial management
- Degree in finance or accounting
- Experience in the automotive industry (asset)
- Strong organizational sense and analytical mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate leadership
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
