Controller (M/F) – Automotive Sector | Laval

Job Description We are looking for a talented and motivated Controller to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in the group's financial management, ensuring that operations align with our strategic objectives while guaranteeing regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting, handle customer and supplier accounts, and/or payroll.
• Produce financial statements, performance reports, and analyses for management to facilitate decision-making.
• Oversee monthly closings and the formulation/revision of budgets; monitor variances and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance; support audits and meet legal obligations deadlines.
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash flows; supervise deposits and collections.
• Implement and monitor internal controls; contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize financial results.

Desired Profile

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role; prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel; knowledge of SERTI is a plus.
• Autonomous, versatile, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Skills and Tools

• General accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll management.
• Preparation of financial statements and financial reporting.
• Tax and regulatory compliance; management of closings and budgets.
• SERTI (or equivalent accounting ERP) and advanced Excel.
