Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial control activities and monthly and quarterly closings, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate.
• Prepare financial statements and analyze variances; contribute to management reports and reports for senior management.
• Manage account reconciliations and consolidations; collaborate with operational teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Participate in the budgeting process and forecasting; analyze deviations and propose corrective measures.
• Implement and maintain rigorous internal controls; optimize accounting processes and information flow.
• Work with sales, after-sales, and inventory departments to ensure proper stock evaluation and monitoring.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Desired Profile

• University degree in accounting.
• CPA designation considered an asset, but not mandatory at hiring.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or financial control.
• Experience in the automotive dealership sector is an asset (internal training and adaptability provided).
• Excellent analytical skills, rigor, discretion, and a strong sense of ethics.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer tools and accounting/ERP software; advanced Excel.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent command of French; English is an asset.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and prioritize according to organizational goals.
