Assistant to the Sales Management – Car Dealership (Quebec)
A leader in its sector, we are recruiting a dynamic, customer-centric Assistant to the Sales Management to support our team and elevate the customer experience to the next level. If you enjoy challenges, coaching, and want to play a key role in the growth of a large dealership, this position is for you.
About the Position In collaboration with the sales director, you will oversee operational management and skill development of the sales team. You will contribute to optimizing performance while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales advisors in transactions and customer follow-up, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide training and coaching for new advisors; identify and propose the team’s training needs.
- Help set realistic monthly targets and monitor results; participate in team meetings planning.
- Supervise vehicle exchanges between dealerships and related administrative tasks (entry of used vehicles on sites, advertising, inventory).
- Ensure adherence to customer satisfaction standards and compliance with applicable laws.
- Contribute to optimizing showroom display and parking lot presentation; coordinate snow removal activities according to the season.
- Keep up-to-date with new products, programs, and promotions from the manufacturer and financial institutions.
Sales-Related Tasks
- Advise on new and used vehicles while respecting customer satisfaction standards.
- Maintain and improve the customer follow-up and development system.
- Regularly train on products, accessories, and their benefits; participate in sales team meetings.
- Know the laws governing retail automotive sales and apply them daily.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in automotive sales and team management (ideally 3–5 years).
- Skills in coaching, leadership, communication, and teamwork.
- Customer-focused attitude, service-minded, and ability to manage priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and office suites; knowledge of local legislative frameworks.
- Bilingual in French/English is a plus.
- Availability for hours compatible with dealership operations.
