Job Description We are seeking an experienced dents repairer to join our workshop in Beauceville. You will play a key role in restoring and customizing heavy trucks, in collaboration with the mechanical, welding, sandblasting, bodywork, and painting departments.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean the workspace and workshop, adhering to safety standards.
- Dent repair of bodies and straightening of frames and subframes.
- Replacement of front-end elements, the body, doors, and other damaged components.
- Filing, grinding, and sanding surfaces to be repaired; masking surfaces in preparation for painting.
- Dent repair using wedges and hammers; disassembly/reassembly of damaged bumpers, panels, and grilles, with bolting or welding of replacement parts.
- Application of primers and paint, surface preparation, and tint matching.
- Repair or replacement of interior elements; mixing and matching colors.
- Use of welding tools and plastic filler materials, and chassis straightening with appropriate equipment.
- Damage assessment and technical recommendations for future interventions.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position (heavy vehicle dent repair and bodywork).
- Proficiency in dent repair, sanding, masking, and application of primers and finishes.
- Skills in repairing or replacing interior elements and paint mixing.
- Ability to use welding tools and plastic filler materials; chassis straightening skills.
- Rigor, attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and team spirit.
- Relevant training in bodywork/dent repair or related field, considered an asset.
