Automotive Workshop Dispatcher – Mauricie Volkswagen (Trois-Rivières)
Mauricie Volkswagen, a well-known dealership located in Trois-Rivières, is seeking an Automotive Workshop Dispatcher to support our service department and ensure an optimal workflow.
Responsibilities
- Plan and assign work orders based on priorities and technician availability.
- Monitor the progress of repairs and adjust schedules in real-time to optimize deadlines and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate regularly with technicians, parts, and the service department regarding delays and parts needs.
- Verify the availability of parts and technical information required to carry out interventions.
- Coordinate vehicle check-outs and returns between the workshop and other departments.
- Update the work order management system and ensure traceability of interventions.
- Participate in ongoing process improvements within the workshop, in collaboration with the team.
Profile Sought (Qualities and Experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a dealership or automotive workshop.
- Good knowledge of workshop processes, deadlines, and intervention priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent command of French; English is an asset.
- Team spirit, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with computer tools and work order management systems; knowledge of dealership software would be an asset.
