Job Description
Assistant to the Director of Pre-Owned Vehicles (Sherbrooke Region)
We are seeking an ambitious professional to lead the used vehicle department and actively support sales, while ensuring rigorous inventory management and effective online presence. Central to our objectives, you will contribute to the department's performance and the success of BMW Canada's Certified Program (CPO).
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory management and efficient rotation
- Track purchased or traded-in vehicles
- Oversee inventory entry and coordinate reconditioning with the service department
- Identify units at risk of aging and optimize their rotation
- Market positioning and pricing management
- Regularly analyze the market to maintain competitive pricing
- Recommend and implement necessary price adjustments
- Support strategies to improve inventory turnover
- Digital marketing
- Supervise fast and efficient online listing of vehicles
- Ensure quality photos, descriptions, and information on sales platforms
- Optimize visibility and performance of online listings
- Development of the BMW Certified (CPO) program
- Identify vehicles eligible for the program
- Coordinate preparation and inspection according to manufacturer standards
- Support the sales team in promoting the benefits of the CPO program
- Sales contributions and goal achievement
- Actively participate in used vehicle sales
- Support the team during transactions when necessary
- Contribute to achieving department goals and maintaining a high level of customer experience
- Performance indicators
- Achieved used vehicle sales targets
- Inventory rotation and average age
- Web listing performance and lead generation
- Percentage of BMW Certified (CPO) vehicles
- Overall contribution to the sales department's performance
Desired Profile
Experience and skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Deputy Sales Manager (or equivalent) in used vehicle sales/management
- Good knowledge of the used vehicle market and ability to analyze trends
- Ability to adjust vehicle positioning based on market conditions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven customer service and sales abilities
