Job Description
Assistant Controller - Mega Kia Brossard (Brossard, QC)
Under the authority of the Financial Controller, you will join the on-site administrative team at Mega Kia Brossard dealership. You will ensure compliance with daily financial transactions and the accuracy of data related to inventory and vehicle sales.

Main Responsibilities Vehicle Transaction Management
- Audit, close, and record sales contracts for new and used vehicles.
- Validate financing contracts (F&I) and related protection products.
- Daily reconciliations of registration transactions and SAAQ fees.
Inventory and Account Control
- Reconcile inventory financing (Floorplan) with the bank.
- Analyze, regularize, and clear accounting schedules (deposits, receivables).
- Process and validate accounts payable and receivable, as well as discounts.
Period-End Closure and Reports
- Perform dealership bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and record journal entries and adjustments at month-end.
- Collaborate with the controller in preparing financial statements for the manufacturer.
Profile Sought
- Experience: 3 years in accounting within an automobile dealership (mandatory).
- Education: DEC or DEP in accounting, or equivalent training.
- Software: Proficiency in a DMS system (Serti and Merlin) and Excel.
- Skills: Rigor, excellent organization, and team spirit.
