Used Vehicle Appraiser – GENX Automotive Group (Repentigny, QC)

GENX Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Appraiser to estimate the market value and condition of used vehicles. If you are meticulous, customer-oriented, and passionate about automobiles, join a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.

Job Mission Conduct comprehensive and compliant evaluations to determine the market value and condition of vehicles intended for sale or internal assessment. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure transparency and quality.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections (mechanical, structural, cosmetic) on vehicles to be evaluated.
• Establish vehicle values and condition based on industry standards, histories, and market data.
• Write clear, complete evaluation reports that meet internal and external requirements.
• Verify and document the vehicle’s history (maintenance, repairs, any accidents) and identify areas needing attention.
• Collaborate with Sales, Financing, and After-Sales teams and communicate with clients to clarify evaluation points.
• Ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and transparency.
• Participate in continuous improvement of evaluation processes and support colleagues’ training initiatives.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive appraisal or related field.
• Solid knowledge of evaluation methods and ability to estimate vehicle value and condition.
• Experience in inspections and drafting professional evaluation reports.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective time management and deadline adherence.
• Fluent in French; English is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
