Director of the Aesthetics Department – Hyundai Sherbrooke
Hyundai Sherbrooke is seeking a passionate Director of Aesthetics, dedicated to customer service, capable of leading our aesthetics department and ensuring the impeccable presentation of our vehicles and services. You will guarantee the maintenance of aesthetic standards for customer reception, vehicle preparation, and the enhancement of the brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and enforce aesthetic standards for sold vehicles, post-sale vehicles, and showroom spaces.
- Supervise detailing, aesthetic preparation, and cleanliness teams (interior/exterior); coordinate schedules and ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Ensure the visual and sensory quality of vehicles before delivery (washing, polishing, surface and leather/fabric protections), quality control, and presentation.
- Design and deploy operational procedures, training, and quality follow-ups related to automotive aesthetics.
- Manage the department budget (purchases, equipment, inventory) and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with sales, after-sales, and marketing teams to optimize showroom and online presentation (photos, videos, product sheets).
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards; apply PPE and safety procedures.
- Monitor performance indicators (preparation times, touch-up rates, customer satisfaction) and propose continuous improvements.
- Participate in training and talent development internally, fostering a culture of excellence and customer service.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or managing an aesthetics/detailing service in the automotive sector.
- Proven expertise in automotive detailing, surface protections (coatings, waxes, treatments), interior and exterior maintenance; knowledge of materials (leather, textile, finishes).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills; ability to train, motivate, and coordinate multidisciplinary staff.
- Strong customer orientation, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility for quality and brand image.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills in French; English is an asset.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and procedures; ability to work according to Hyundai standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
