Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager – Category Optimization

Your Missions
- Manage and optimize aspects of purchasing and categories, analyze trends, adjust multisite supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
- Plan and optimize procurement (replenishment and reservations), adjust inventory parameters (min/max) to maximize commercial conditions and prevent shortages or surpluses.
- Analyze supplier performance, conduct price audits, and identify opportunities; actively participate in negotiations and develop strategic agreements (e.g., clothing, consumables, supplies).
- Manage and optimize key agreements for operations (equipment and furniture, fleet, furnishings, waste management, garage supplies, etc.).
- Negotiate and monitor agreements with PPE suppliers, balancing costs, quality, and safety and environmental compliance.
- Contribute to investment planning (annual Capex), produce cost estimates, and propose the best procurement strategies to maximize investments.
- Identify and implement concrete cost optimization and procurement process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a reference for internal teams and support operational sectors, notably the mining sector.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of procurement practices to improve overall performance.
Profiles Sought
- 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or category/inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence business decisions.
- Experience in negotiation and managing supplier relationships.
- Comfortable in a multisite environment with operational and strategic challenges.
- Proficiency in IT tools (ERP and intermediate Excel).
- Business-minded, leadership, and good judgment.
- Autonomy, proactivity, and willingness to improve existing practices.
