Accounting Technician – Support to the Financial Controller

Mauricie Toyota, a key player in the automotive sector in Mauricie, is seeking an Accounting Technician to ensure rigorous accounting management and support the Financial Controller.

Job Description

Integrated into the financial team, you will handle the recording of current operations, account control, and analytical support necessary for the monthly closing cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording sales and entering daily transactions.
• Maintaining and controlling accounts (customer accounts, supplier accounts, cash flow) and bank reconciliations.
• Verifying documents and journals according to internal procedures.
• Supporting the Financial Controller in variance analysis and ad hoc analyses.
• Participating in the monthly closing cycle and producing financial statements and reports.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and accounting efficiency.

Profile Sought

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting/finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software; quick learner of internal tools.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
• Autonomy, team spirit, and respect for deadlines.
