Job Offer: Clerk / Accounting Technician

Location: Laval (based at 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd.)

Main Responsibilities

• Data entry and processing of accounting entries
• Management of accounts payable and receivable, payment tracking
• Bank reconciliations and account adjustments
• Preparation of financial statements and support for monthly closures
• Management of supporting documents, archiving, and organization of files
• Support to the accounting team and participation in process improvement projects
• Collaboration with other departments (sales, operations) to ensure data accuracy
• Entry and control of financial and operational data

Profile Sought

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience; ongoing training is an asset
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency with computer tools (Excel; knowledge of accounting software appreciated)
• Rigor, analytical mindset, excellent time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
