Responsibilities

• Record and verify daily accounting transactions (purchases, sales, cash receipts, and payments) and reconcile bank statements.
• Manage supplier and customer accounts, reclassify accounts, and monitor balances.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly closings; prepare analyses and documents for verifications and audits.
• Prepare financial reports and operational analyses (margins, costs, variances) for management.
• Collaborate with the Sales, Service, and Parts departments to ensure the accuracy of stock and financial flow data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.

Profile

• Degree in accounting or finance (DEC/BAC) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in general and analytical accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with an ERP system and inventory management is a plus.
• Good knowledge of French and English.
• Rigorous, discreet, analytical thinking, and highly organized.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Ideally: experience in the automotive sector or retail and knowledge of inventory practices.
