Sales Accounting Clerk - Automotive (Laval)

We are seeking a Sales Accounting Clerk to support our automotive dealership activities and ensure the accuracy of accounting related to sales and inventory.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for accounting for vehicle sales and purchases, exchanges between dealerships, managing inventory in the general ledger, and tracking receivables related to vehicles in stock, while producing reports requested by management. With a diploma or experience in accounting, you will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Record vehicle sales
• Record exchanges between dealerships
• Record vehicle purchases
• Manage inventory entries in the general ledger
• Track receivables related to vehicle sales
• Manage financing for vehicles in inventory
• Prepare various reports for management

Operational Tasks

• File and archive accounting documents
• Enter and verify accounting entries (sales, purchases, payments)
• Monitor sales files and discounts applied
• Ensure accuracy of entries in the general ledger and inventory

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Experience in accounting: minimum 2 years
• Experience in the automotive dealership sector (asset)
• Knowledge of the SERTI system (asset)
• Skills in general accounting and data entry
• Rigor, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Desired Experience

• 1 year as a Sales Secretary
• 1 year as an Accounting Clerk / Technician
