Job Opportunity: Mechanical Inspection Technician

The Mechanical Inspection Center of Montreal is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a mechanical inspection technician for light vehicles.

Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will assess the mechanical condition of vehicles to ensure their compliance with current standards. Here is an overview of essential tasks:

• Diagnostics and repairs of (gasoline) engines
• Management of anti-pollution systems
• Maintenance of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Maintenance of air conditioning and heating systems
• Repairs of injection and electrical systems
• ECM - PCM - ECU programming
• Repairs of suspension, steering, and braking systems

Desired Profile

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• A card from the joint committee as a certified mechanic in general mechanics or a vocational diploma in road vehicle mechanics with 2 years of experience
• At least 1 year of experience as a mechanic/technician
• SAAQ accreditation (an asset)
