Pneus Ratté is looking for an experienced automotive technician capable of identifying the source of a problem, establishing a reliable diagnosis, and getting vehicles back on the road safely.

Your Mission

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of vehicles.
• Identify upcoming repairs and recommended maintenance.
• Collaborate with technical advisors to explain the work to be done.
• Prepare necessary parts lists and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Keep the workshop clean and safe, and ensure safety standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and anti-pollution systems.
• Diagnose and repair hybrid or electric vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair fuel injection systems (gasoline) and electrical/electronic circuits.
• Program ECM/PCM/ECU units.
• Repair suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems.

Profile Required

• Diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of automotive repair experience.
• Certification from the Automobile Parity Committee.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in wheel alignment (an asset).
• Good mechanical sense and attention to quality work.
• Resourcefulness and independence.
• Team spirit.
