Mont-Royal Chevrolet — Mechanic / Technician

Important information We are recruiting a motivated Mechanic / Technician to join the Mont-Royal Chevrolet team. As a Mechanic/Technician, you will ensure the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles. You will work in a modern workshop, surrounded by an experienced team, with access to ongoing training on GM technologies. Your expertise guarantees repairs that meet manufacturer standards and an exceptional customer experience.

Main responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs according to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
• Read and interpret repair orders, technical diagrams, and workshop manuals.
• Ensure the quality of work and complete it within the scheduled time.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the workshop and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the technical team and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training offered by the manufacturer and dealership.

Profile required

• Experience as an automotive mechanic / technician.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to quality work.
• Team spirit and professional attitude.
• Methodical, organized, and respectful of procedures.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (a significant advantage).
• Knowledge of the GM brand (an asset).

Compensation

• Class 1: CAD 45/hour
• Class 2: CAD 43/hour
• Class 3: CAD 39.75/hour

Work hours

• Day shift, Monday to Friday.
