Chaput Automobile Inc. Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Varennes is looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic / Technician to diagnose and repair Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles, new or used, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles.
• Perform oil changes, part replacements, alignments, balancing, and both preventive and corrective repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans, and service sheets; document work performed on service orders.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment and ensure work safety.
• Collaborate with other technicians and service staff to propose appropriate solutions.
• Adhere to quality standards and turnaround times.
• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles is an asset.

Profile Sought

• DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position (ideally in a dealership).
• Good knowledge of engine systems, transmission, brakes, suspension, emissions, and electronics.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams; proficiency with diagnostic tools and relevant software.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license; availability to work according to service hours; punctual flexibility.
• Rigor, attention to detail, and quick learning ability.
