Journeyman Mechanic - Pierre Mondou Mechanical Workshop Inc. (Sainte-Thérèse)
About the position
Join the team at Pierre Mondou Mechanical Workshop Inc. as a Journeyman Mechanic. You will maintain, diagnose, inspect, and repair a variety of vehicles to uphold the quality standards our customers are accustomed to. You will work on American, Japanese, and European models. Our experienced teams facilitate scheduling and parts management.
Key responsibilities
- Maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis of vehicles
- Repair of gasoline vehicles (brakes, steering, suspension, air conditioning, etc.)
- Analysis of electrical schematics, reading, and interpreting fault codes
- Repair and maintenance of hybrid and electric vehicles
- Tire repair and installation
- ECM/PCM/ECU programming and electrical/electronic interventions
- Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning/heating systems
- Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems (gasoline)
Profile required
We are primarily looking for someone passionate about automotive mechanics, with an analytical mind and pride in doing quality work. Open-minded, you want to contribute to the progress of the garage and the team.
Qualifications and skills
- Recommended experience: 3 to 5 years in an independent workshop
- DEP in automotive mechanics and journeyman skill cards
- ASP in electric vehicle mechanics (or equivalent)
- Valid driver's license (manual transmission driving preferred)
- Proficiency with Mitchell On Demand, AllData, and AB Magic software (AB Magic is an asset)
- Excellent organization, autonomy, and perseverance
Compensation
- Up to $40.00/hour

Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Friday afternoons off
- Closed between Christmas and New Year's Day
