Automotive Mechanic / Technician – Mercedes-Benz Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

Mercedes-Benz Ste-Agathe dealership, renowned for excellent after-sales service for premium vehicles, is seeking a motivated Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its team in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of experience and is committed to quality, customer service, and technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose breakdowns and interpret error codes using computerized diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Replace defective parts, carry out final adjustments, and testing.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles (including gasoline engines, injection systems, brakes, transmission, air conditioning, and heating).
• Work on advanced systems (emission systems, hybrids/electrics, ECM/PCM/ECU programming) and conduct post-service tests.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the workshop and document interventions in the management system.
• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction and meet deadlines.
• Follow safety procedures, warranty requirements, and timeframes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in auto mechanics (or equivalent background).
• Good knowledge of modern systems (electronics, injection, braking, transmission).
• Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
• Team spirit, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent in French; English is an asset.
