Mechanic / Technician

Position: Automotive Technician – Hybrids and Electric Vehicles

Location: Saint-Léonard (Saint-Léonard Mitsubishi)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on gasoline engines, anti-pollution systems, air conditioning, injection systems, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Intervene on hybrid/electric systems and advanced all-wheel drive technologies (S-AWC).
• Program and configure ECM/PCM/ECU modules.
• Carry out maintenance on suspensions, steering, and braking systems.
• Collaborate with the service team to optimize the customer experience and ensure impeccable quality.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and the brand’s quality standards.

Profile Sought

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Excellent skills in electrical and mechanical diagnostics; experience with hybrid/electric systems appreciated.
• Precision, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
• Passion for automobiles and emerging technologies.
• Category B driver’s license.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Mastery of diagnostic tools and associated software (e.g., PBS Systems).
• Ability to work on modern and hybrid/PHEV vehicles.
• Continuing education and ability to quickly learn manufacturer technologies.
