Experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Location: Saint-Lazare, Quebec

Octo Auto Service Plus, a modern workshop focused on customer service, is looking for an experienced Mechanic/Technician to join a team dedicated to technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in vehicles (gasoline, hybrid, and electric).
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to workshop standards.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools and equipment; identify anomalies and propose solutions.
• Read and interpret diagrams, technical manuals, and technical sheets.
• Program engine control units (ECU/PCM/ECM) and ensure their proper functioning.
• Work on suspension, steering, and braking systems (hydraulic).
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning, climate control, and heating systems.
• Document interventions and keep service records up to date.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure quality and meet deadlines.

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Knowledge of electronic systems and onboard diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service attitude and concern for quality.
• Valid driver's license.
