Mechanic / Auto Technician – NAPA Autopro, Gare Mechanical Center, Saint-Jérôme (QC)

Your responsibilities

• Diagnose breakdowns and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide variety of vehicles
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and periodic revisions
• Diagnose using modern tools and interpret technical data
• Replace parts and verify their quality
• Perform road tests and follow up on interventions
• Work in a team and communicate clearly with clients about repairs and costs
• Adhere to safety standards, internal procedures, and deadlines

Profile sought

• Relevant diploma in auto mechanics or equivalent
• CPA card required (A, B, or C) or third-year apprentice mechanic
• Good knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning
• Ability to diagnose and repair modern vehicles using diagnostic tools
• Customer service oriented and good communication skills
• Team spirit, independence, and attention to quality work
• Valid driver’s license

Desired experience

• Minimum experience: 1 year in auto mechanics
• Accepted alternatives: third-year apprentice mechanic
• Valid driver’s license
