Mechanic / Apprentice – Auto Workshop (Groupe Mécanix / Point S)

Main responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality checks according to current protocols.
• Use diagnostic tools and measuring instruments accurately.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and uphold safety standards.
• Document interventions and ensure clear follow-up with clients or supervisors.

Key technical tasks

• Oil and filter changes
• Diagnosis and repair of the engine (gasoline) and injection systems
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of the air conditioning and heating system
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• Suspension and steering repairs
• Hydraulic brake system repair

Profile sought

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year in the automotive mechanical sector (mechanic/technician) or motivated apprenticeship candidate.
• Training and advancement opportunities offered for promising candidates.

Skills and qualities

• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and specific tools.
