Automobile Mechanic / Technician – Audi Montreal
Audi Popular Montreal is looking for a passionate automobile Mechanic / Technician dedicated to quality service to strengthen our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, primarily Audi, following the service center standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, filters, belts, brakes, suspensions, transmissions) and mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools (scanners, multimeters, OEM tools) to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical sheets; clearly document interventions and results in the customer record.
- Work with service advisors to explain repairs, estimate times, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and quality standards; contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes.
- Maintain smooth communication with the team and ensure the proper functioning of the service center.
Candidate Profile
- Technical diploma in automotive mechanics (DEP/DEC or equivalent).
- Minimum of one year experience in a similar role; preference for experience with European vehicles and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems; ability to diagnose quickly and propose tangible solutions.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills; good communication abilities.
- Fluent in French; English is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability for certain schedules and ability to adapt to service needs.

Technical Tasks
- Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
- Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
- Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
- Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
- ECM / PCM / ECU programming
- Suspension and steering repairs
- Repair and maintenance of hydraulic braking systems
Requirements and Personal Qualities
- At least 1 year experience as a mechanic / technician
- Valid driver’s license
- Punctuality, organization, and efficiency
Certifications
- CPA competency card (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C)
- CPA card (Apprentice 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year)
