Ville-Marie Kia, a Kia dealership in Montreal, is seeking an experienced 1st or 2nd class mechanic to join a dynamic workshop. You will work within a committed team dedicated to providing top-notch service and effective solutions to our loyal customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain new and used vehicles according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and functional tests.
• Analyze failures, propose sustainable solutions, and precisely document the interventions performed.
• Collaborate with the service team to optimize lead times and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Follow safety rules, keep the workshop clean and organized, and ensure proper functioning of tools and equipment.
• Carry out repairs and adjustments on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering, and braking; ECM/PCM/ECU programming; anti-pollution systems and, if necessary, hybrid/electric systems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics (1st or 2nd class mechanic).
• DEP diploma or equivalent in automotive mechanics.
• Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and automotive electrical systems; ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills and team spirit.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform road tests.
• Availability to work according to the dealership's schedule.
• CPA skill card (1, 2, 3, or A, B, C) or equivalent.
