Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing gasoline engines and associated systems
• Diagnosing and repairing anti-pollution systems, fuel injection, and electronics
• Diagnosing and maintaining hybrid and electric vehicles
• Diagnosing and repairing air conditioning/heating systems
• Programming ECM/PCM/ECU
• Repairing suspension and steering
• Maintaining and repairing hydraulic braking systems
• Complying with safety and quality standards, with a continuous improvement approach

Profile and Requirements

• Valid driver's license (required)
• Experience in general mechanics (required)
• Experience in diesel mechanics (an asset)
• Experience with manual transmission
• Automotive Industry Joint Committee competence card (CPA) (required or valid)
• Knowledge of Ford products (an asset)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician
• Ability to work in a team and customer service-oriented
• Skills in electronic programming and diagnostics (ECM/PCM/ECU) preferred
