Mechanic / Technician - Used Vehicle Reconditioning Specialist
Joliette Ford Lincoln, a member of the St-Jean Group and a local player for over 40 years, is seeking an experienced Mechanic / Technician in used vehicle reconditioning. Based in Joliette, Quebec, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The Role
- Complete reconditioning of used vehicles: inspection, diagnosis, and mechanical repairs.
- Interventions on the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning; touch-ups and final preparations before sale.
- Conduct road tests and safety inspections to ensure compliance with St-Jean Group and Joliette Ford Lincoln standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace; document interventions in the internal system.
- Collaborate with sales and after-sales teams to meet reconditioning deadlines and requirements.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle reconditioning or a similar role in auto mechanics.
- Degree or equivalent training in auto mechanics (DEP or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of modern vehicles; diagnostic ability with specialized tools.
- Resourceful, quick problem solver, autonomous while fostering team spirit.
- Rigor, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Valid driver’s license and mobility; willing to participate in training.
