Automotive Mechanic / Technician – Mercedes-Benz Granby (Granby, QC)

We are looking for a motivated and conscientious Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join the Mercedes-Benz Granby workshop and maintain the brand's excellence.

Desired Profile

• Experience and Education

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics/maintenance
  • Technical training in automotive maintenance or equivalent

• Technical Skills

  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic systems
  • Interpretation of diagrams and use of diagnostic tools and Mercedes-Benz software
  • Proficiency in diagnostics and repairs on gasoline engines, anti-pollution systems, hybrid/electric vehicles, air conditioning, fuel injection, electrical/electronic systems
  • Programming ECM/PCM/ECU and working on suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems

• Languages and Communication

  • Fluent French; technical English is a plus

• Personal Qualities

  • Team spirit, rigor, and customer service orientation
  • Autonomy and leadership qualities

• License

  • Valid driver's license

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electronic, and safety systems according to Mercedes-Benz standards
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, ensure final inspection, and return vehicles to service
• Interpret diagrams and use diagnostic tools and software specific to Mercedes-Benz
• Collaborate with customer service and parts department to optimize intervention times and customer satisfaction
• Document interventions accurately and adhere to safety and quality procedures
• Actively participate in ongoing training and stay informed about technical developments specific to the brand
