Mechanic - Mobile Unit (Heavy Road Vehicles) – Sherbrooke and Surrounding Areas

Job Overview
You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on heavy road vehicles within a mobile unit. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and testing, while ensuring effective communication with parts and technical teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair according to service calls.
- Determine the cause of faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain required parts.
- Label and store warranty parts or at the customer's request.
- Collaborate with technical advisors to suggest additional work or adjust scheduling based on constraints (off-road repairs, deadlines, etc.).
- Document all work on the repair order.
- Conduct road tests of the vehicle when necessary.

Desired Profile and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
- Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics
- Class 3 driver's license required (Class 1 an asset)
- Good proficiency with computer tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Versatility and autonomy
