Automotive Mechanic/Technician – Kia Chambly

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic systems of vehicles.
• Perform maintenance and repairs according to Kia standards and manufacturer's procedures.
• Diagnose and work on the following components:
  • Gas engines and injection systems
  • Anti-pollution systems
  • Hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Air conditioning/heating and climate control systems
  • ECM/PCM/ECU programming
  • Suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems
• Work closely with the customer service team to ensure smooth communication and optimal customer satisfaction.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized, and adhere to current safety and health protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on new technologies and repair methods.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician.
• Recognized auto mechanic certification (an asset).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Strong customer service orientation and willingness to exceed expectations.
• Passion for the automotive industry and curiosity about emerging technologies.
