Chambly Honda, a leading Honda dealership on the South Shore, is looking for a motivated and skilled Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its workshop. You will contribute to providing reliable repairs, quick service, and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on Honda vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine interventions (brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, exhaust, etc.).
• Conduct diagnostics using specialized tools and software and interpret results to offer the best solutions.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental standards, and workshop guidelines.
• Document interventions in the internal system, ensure traceability of parts used, and communicate relevant information to the team and customer.
• Work collaboratively with after-sales service to ensure efficient repairs and optimal customer satisfaction.
• Keep technical knowledge up to date through internal and external training.

Required Qualifications

• Professional diploma (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and technologies; experience with Honda vehicles is a plus.
• Good diagnostic, maintenance, and repair skills.
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit; ability to work independently and organized.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent in French; operational English is an advantage.

• Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning systems
• Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• ECM – PCM – ECU programming
• Suspension and steering repair
• Repair and maintenance of the braking system (hydraulic)

Experience Required

• 1 year as a Mechanic / Technician
