Mechanic / Technician - Diagnostics and Electrical (Class 1 or Class 2)
Brossard Mitsubishi is looking for a mechanic / technician specialized in diagnostics and electrical work, full-time.

The position
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems of Mitsubishi vehicles (and other brands according to procedures)
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs compliant with manufacturer standards and quality protocols
- Analyze breakdowns, propose optimal solutions, and accurately document interventions
- Collaborate with clients and the service team to ensure high satisfaction and meet deadlines
- Strict adherence to safety rules and quality requirements
- Possibility of taking on workshop supervisor responsibilities depending on needs and interest
Technical responsibilities (excerpt)
- Engine diagnosis and repair (gasoline)
- Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
- Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
- Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems
- Diagnosis and repair of the fuel injection system (gasoline)
- Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
- ECM - PCM - ECU programming
- Suspension and steering repair
- Brake system repair and maintenance (hydraulic)
Required experience and qualifications
- Automotive mechanic or qualified technician, Class 1 or Class 2
- Minimum 5 years experience in automotive diagnostics and electrical work
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (OBD, CAN, etc.) and ability to interpret wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of Mitsubishi systems and the ability to work according to manufacturer procedures (asset)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
- Team spirit, autonomy, and reliability; valid driver's license; ability to work in workshop and follow safety standards
- CPA certificate (Skill Card 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C) or equivalent
