Job Offer: Mechanic / Automotive Technician – Volkswagen Brossard

Context

Part of the Automax Group, you will contribute to maintaining the operational excellence of our Volkswagen Brossard workshop and ensure quick and reliable interventions on our clients' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Volkswagen vehicles and other brands represented, according to manufacturer procedures and safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and mechanical and electronic interventions.
• Conduct road tests and verify proper operation after repairs; document interventions in the customer file.
• Collaborate with the Service and Parts team to ensure an efficient workflow and quick handling of interventions.

Areas of Expertise (Know-How)

• Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems
• Diagnosis and repair of injection systems (gasoline)
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• ECM / PCM / ECU programming
• Suspension and steering repair
• Hydraulic braking system repair and maintenance

Profile Sought

• Professional diploma (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent training
• Strong skills in electronic and mechanical diagnosis, knowledge of modern systems
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work in a team and independently
• Commitment to work quality and adherence to safety standards
• Good command of French; knowledge of English is an asset
• Initiative, rigor, and attention to detail
