About the Company

Mega Kia Brossard serves the Brossard region and is seeking a passionate Mechanic / Technician for a dynamic collaboration within a modern and air-conditioned workshop.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electric and hybrid vehicles, in accordance with manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, propulsion, batteries, and power electronics.
• Read and interpret diagrams, diagnostic reports, and technical procedures; use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene rules of the workshop, particularly for high-voltage work.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide high-quality customer service and durable solutions.
• Document interventions and keep technical and service records up to date.
• Actively participate in ongoing training and share knowledge with the team.
• Program and reprogram ECM/PCM/ECU systems as needed.

Desired Profile

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in auto repair; specialization or experience in electric/hybrid vehicles is an asset.
• Experience with Kia or Hyundai is an advantage; this experience may entitle to up to 6 weeks of paid vacation.
• Strong interest in electric vehicle technologies and team work skills.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and perform precise diagnostics.
• Good customer service sense and excellent rigor in documenting interventions.

Technical Skills and Know-How

• Diagnosis and repair of electrical, electronic, and propulsion systems.
• Programming ECM / PCM / ECU.
• Diagnosis and maintenance of injection, air conditioning/heating, and hydraulic braking systems.
• Work on suspension, steering, and anti-pollution systems as needed.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and comply with current standards.
