Automotive Mechanical Technician – Diagnostics, Repairs, and Maintenance
We are seeking a qualified technician capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles (cars and SUVs) efficiently, in order to satisfy and build loyalty with our customers.
Responsibilities
For each repair or maintenance
- Perform the work described on the repair order efficiently and accurately, in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Apply the 3C framework:
- Condition = Technical Advisor
- Cause = Mechanical Technician
- Corrections = Mechanical Technician
- Carry out repairs professionally on the first attempt to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Inspect the vehicle (preventive maintenance) and communicate observations to your technical advisor.
Every day
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Wear professional and neat attire.
- Ensure a safe and tidy workspace.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and adopt a professional attitude.
Every week
- Follow the manufacturer’s technical bulletins.
- Participate in the manufacturer’s web-based training.
- Stay informed about product improvements from the manufacturer.
- Keep up to date with new models.

- Review key indicators with the after-sales service manager:
- Productivity
- Lost time
- Return visits to the workshop
- Manufacturer training
- Cleanliness of the work area
- CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index)
Technical tasks (key skills)
- Wheel alignment
- Oil and filter change
- Diagnosis and repair of transmissions
- Diagnosis and repair of the air conditioning and heating system
- Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
- Installation of trailer hitches
- Mounting tires and wheels
- Suspension and steering repair
- Hydraulic brake system repair and maintenance
Profile required
- Minimum experience: 3 years in automotive mechanics (mechanic/technician; candidates with experienced apprentice status will also be considered).
- Technical skills:
- Diagnosis and repair of the main mechanical and electrical systems
- Transmission, air conditioning, electronics, and brake systems
- Preventive maintenance and specialized repairs listed above
- Knowledge and application of manufacturer standards
- Professional qualities:
- Customer service oriented and team player
- Rigor, accuracy, and quality-minded
- Good organization and autonomy
