Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) - Point S / Centre du Pneu Radial La Prairie

A family-owned center established on Taschereau Boulevard since 1947, we are seeking a motivated Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join our team.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks and simple repairs on vehicles (suspension, brakes, tire mounting/dismounting, oil and filter).
• Participate in routine maintenance services and assist technicians in more complex interventions.
• Use workshop tools and equipment while respecting safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop and ensure efficient and quality service.
• Track the progress of work and communicate with clients when necessary to guarantee their satisfaction.

Profile and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the tasks described (suspension, brakes, tires, oil, and filter).
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and workshop tools.
• Team spirit, quick learner, attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and customer service focus; ability to work independently under supervision and follow directives.
• Automotive mechanic training or equivalent experience is an asset; motivation to evolve towards more technical responsibilities.

Technical Skills and Valuable Experience

• Oil and filter changes
• Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
• Suspension and steering repair
• Maintenance and repair of brake systems (hydraulic)

Certifications

• CPA skill card (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C)
